One of my instructors maintains that if you can attend the Annual ASNT Conference as a student, then you should. He was right—this has been a blast! I went into this conference not knowing what to expect—and I’m leaving with a new resolve.
ASNT 2021 as a first timer has been exciting, overwhelming, and rewarding. I was able to participate in industry interviews and classes, and meet cohorts from all across the country.

There was tech galore, but I have to say that I found the most value within the people of ASNT. During my time at the conference, I made it a point to connect with as many people as I possibly could.
To all the exhibitors, techs, and anyone in-between who took time to talk to this (very green) student—I value your time and advice. Your perspective has helped shape my next steps in this field. And for that, I thank you.
