The COVID-19 pandemic is the largest disruption ever to hit the world economy and it has brought virtually everything in its path to a halt. Despite the chaos, there is one piece of good news—it will end.
In his keynote address today at 9:00 a.m. EST, “OMG, What’s Next? Life after COVID,” Tom Morrison, an award-winning association executive with the Metal Treating Institute, will discuss staying positive and developing your career during this disruption to the NDT industry.
What’s driving industry today is not internal forces, but external forces, claims Morrison. His presentation will show how three technologies—the self-driven car, artificial intelligence, and 3D printing—will have a damaging effect on a whole host of industries. “My question is, are you paying attention to it to get ahead of the change?” asks Morrison.
