ASTM International plans to host its fall Committee Week in person, 3–8 October 2021 in Atlanta, Georgia. The decision was made following review of pandemic metrics, government guidelines, and member survey results.
The organization will closely monitor the guidelines set by the CDC, state and local governments, and the hotel venue to ensure compliance at the time of the meeting. Those attending are encouraged to take precautions, including but not limited to:
- self-screening before joining meetings each day for the safety of all
- refraining from attending in person if experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, and
- mask wearing and social distancing for those who are not fully vaccinated
ASTM International will follow local guidelines and regulations concerning requirements of COVID-19 vaccinations or negative COVID-19 test results to attend meetings.
