ASNT is seeking a qualified lead contributor to develop a new introductory publication on the role of artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) in the nondestructive testing industry.
This project should provide an overview of the advances of AI/ML and its current capabilities, its role in NDT, and the potential future applications of AI/ML in helping to create a safer world.
This publication is intended to be accessible to general interest audiences who may be less familiar with NDT and AI/ML. It should be designed to provide information about these two subjects and their importance to a variety of industries now and in the future. It is not intended to be a textbook for classroom instruction or a technical manual.
The selected lead contributor will be responsible for developing the book outline, compiling the research, acquiring permissions, and working with a co-author to complete the manuscript.
