Can Artificial Intelligence Help Analyze Data in Aviation-based NDE?
One challenge with aviation NDE data is the broad range of variables. To address the limitations of available data, the US Air Force NDE community integrates the attributes of AI/ML with other algorithms plus human analysis into the final decision-making process. The combination of statistical analysis combined with human analysis has been named intelligence augmentation.
